Hello,
i have converted a Windows 2000 Server 32 Bit with 2 Cores.
Host has Debian 64 Bit wit a Core i7 930 CPU.
After starting the guest with 2 virtual CPUs, the CPU at hostside is going to 200%. The guest is running with 2 % (Taskmanager).
After changing the HAl to a single CPU, the hostside CPU load is going down to 4 % when guest is idle.
If i change the guest HAL back to multicore, the CPU load at host side is back to 200%.
What can i do?
Other device drivers for windows 2000 server?
Some registry changes?
Thanks
Windows 2000 Server 200% CPU load at host side

Not much can be done, except add details of your setup (VirtualBox.xml, machine.xml, VBox.log file) to this bug report :
