Showing real ip on guest box

Post by makimajmun »

Hello.

I've got installed Win Xp as host, virtualbox and debian as guest there. I've decided to open ssh and apachi there, so i forwarded 80 and 22 ports to guest box. Everything works fine. When checking where is certain user connecting from, it always shows local ip of host box. It's natural, but I'm wondering if there's any chance of getting real ip of user that is connecting to ssh on guest box ?

thanks in advance

Not with NAT and port forwarding. You could switch to bridged I suppose and get the information that you want.
