Setting CPU/Core affinity

Post by baseliner »

I'm using VB 3.1.6 on Snow Leopard with a Win7 x64 guest. This is on my 15" MacBook Pro with Core i7 so I have 4 virtual CPUs/cores. I run some CPU intensive tasks on the guest OS and I've noticed that the core/CPU that's being used by VB switches constantly while my task is running. Is there any way to set the affinity for VB to a specific core? I have a feeling the core switching is decreasing the performance of my task. Thanks!
