Hi,
I just install the new version (1.4.0) and I tried to use my vmdk file , but when i turn on the machine a messagge appare :
"A disk read error occured "
please press ALt+Ctrl+end.
Any clue?

IDE vs. SCSI, perhaps?
I got the same error when I tried to run a VM using a VMDK of Win2K (all this under Linux).
I *think* the problem is that for NT-based OS's, VMware defaults to a SCSI disk rather than an IDE one. My suspicision (without checking the docs) is that VirtualBox can only correctly handle IDE VMDK's.

Fix: new IDE vmdk

yes you right the problem was the scsi interface.
Now with the Ide everthing work.
