As I installed Ubuntu 7.10 in December 2007 I was very disappointed about the buggy network manager. So I tried to find an alternative. I found it with wicd http://wicd.sourceforge.net/. Now my notebooks wlan and lan adapters are working well in every environment.
I need some information about wicd and host networking. Does it work with wicd and how to set it up?
Any ideas?
