Keyboard issue

Hi *,
I have a Ubuntu 7.10 and virtual box 1.5.2 (repository version).
OS installed within virtual box is Windows XP SP2.

The problem I have is that the Tilde key (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_PC_keyboard - first one on the left from key "1") does not work.

It works within Linux, but guest OS appears not to register this key as being pressed.

Any suggestions? I have tried to search the forum, but I haven't found anything I could really use...

Maybe your keyboard setting doesn't match the language settings in XP. Look at your locale settings in Ubuntu and compare it with language settings in XP.
