See the whole thread when I'm editing a post

Post by scottgus1 »

When posting a reply, I can see the whole thread below the posting area (or some of it if the thread is really long). When I'm editing my post, I can only see my immediate post. This becomes inconvenient when I'd like to refer to something further up while editing in a newer thought.

Is it possible to show the same series of previous posts while editing as it does now when posting replies?

I've found myself quite often in that position, it's a functionality of phpBB I guess. What I do in that case is to go to the top of my in-edit message and right-click on the topic title -> Open in a new window. So I have the post-under-edit in one window and the whole thread in another... ;)
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
