[Solved] VirtualBox forum/bugtracker e-mail notifications

How am I supposed to get forum and bugtracker e-mail notifications? I have some bugs and I realized I'm not getting updates for them via e-mail. I went to https://www.virtualbox.org/prefs and set my e-mail address. It was unset. Does that mean I will get e-mail notifications for the bug tracker now? How do I do that for the forum? I clicked on the User Control Panel but I don't see a way to add my e-mail. I have a single-sign-on e-mail I figured that would cover everything but now I'm not so sure.

I am receiving bugtracker e-mails now that I set my e-mail address at that URL. So all I need to figure out is how to set my e-mail address here in the forum, if necessary.

On the top left part there is a "User Control Panel". Go there and then "Board Preferences" » "Edit posting defaults" » "Notify me upon replies by default:" == checked.

Or you can go directly there using this link: ucp.php?i=prefs&mode=post

Thanks socratis. I received an e-mail notification of your reply here (and also your reply in the bugtracker for an unrelated issue). So they are working. What was confusing was how I had to set my e-mail address separately for the bug tracker and in this forum there's apparently no way to set the e-mail. Anyway it is fine now, it is sending forum notifications to the e-mail address associated with my oracle single-sign in.

Actually there should be a single login process, the Oracle Single Sign On, or OSSO for short. If you login either in the forums.virtualbox.org, or in the virtualbox.org domain (which includes the bug tracker), you should be logged in on both.

PS. Thanks for marking it as [Solved].
