Creation of shared folder on Linux guest
When 'Shared folder' is included in the process of creating a new Linux guest, the process should automatically add the user to vboxsf.

Which "user" would that be in a multi-user environment?
What if you add the Shared folders after you've created the VM?
Moving to the "Suggestions" forum from the "Windows Hosts" one.

Making a common organizer
Make an organizer on the Host PC (ubuntu) that you might want to share, for instance ~/share
Boot the Guest working framework in VirtualBox.
Select Devices - > Shared Folders...
Pick the "Include" catch.
Select ~/share
Alternatively select the 'Make perpetual' choice

You do not do "things" that people "might" use. You let that to the user. A lot of people on the other hand want complete isolation of their VMs.kenneth01 wrote:that you might want to share

Re: Creation of shared folder on Linux guest
Not to mention that the automatic addition in a guest is problematic at best. Too many different kinds of machines, code, and probably would end up added with the wrong permission set. Better leave that to the end user which the DEVs have wisely decided.
