It would be helpful if host only networks could be named. Currently AFAIK host only networks are always named vboxnetN where N is some number. If you have a number of virtual machines and subsets of them need a different host only network, it's difficult to keep track of which host network any particular VM should be using.

That's not a bad idea. I didn't like it myself so I tried to edit the config files and change it. I had to clean up my system and re-install VirtualBox
