Select sound device in osx

I would like to see the feature of being able to set a different audio device than the default in osx.

I have a bluetooth headset and I connect it before launching virtualbox so it is used as output. If the device goes out of range the system (and therefore virtualbox) switches to the hdmi output. However, when I reconnect the bluetooth device, the system switches to it as default, but virtualbox is stuck on hdmi until I CLOSE it and relaunch. I can't just reboot the virtual machine, no I have to close virtualbox app as well to get it back on the bluetooth device.

So since OSX is weak in features unlike linux, please add the ability to select the audio output device
