Setting not detectable key combinations

Post by Zajec »

Hi,

I use openSUSE as my main OS and I run XP in VirtualBox. As you know, KDE offers a few virtual desktops. It would be nice if I could run XP in full screen mode on one of these desktop *and* if I could switch to another virtual desktop at any time.

At this moment it is not possible, because key combination that I use for switching to desktop no. 1 doesn't work. If I am in XP in fullscreen and press "SHIFT+ALT+1" (which normally works) it is detected by VirutalBox and send to XP.

I would like to see option in VirtualBox to choose key combinations that will not be send to virtualized machine. Is this possible?

Any chance for introducing this functionality?

I saw a video of somebody doing this. Maybe this is possible to do with some other virtualization software, although I would like to learn how to do it with Virtualbox as well.
