Change message about 'Capturing' the keyboard

Post by DanV »

(mod edit: originally posted in DanV's "Alt+Tab inside Virtualbox needs return window" topic)

Additionally, the developers better change wording for the message which comes when you push the Host Key. I thought first time that all my keys will be captured and recorded which implies passwords. So i'd not touch Host Key again after such message. Do you see this picture posted on Postimage?

Split to new topic. One subject per topic, please.

No such need. Once you consult the manual, you'll know what 'capture' means in this context (words can have different meanings in different contexts  ) and that Virtualbox wouldn't be storing your passwords...

I can assure you that everybody, if they want to be taken seriously by the devs, have RTFM. Many have read the source code too.

In the world where everything works and where everything is understood, where I am happy and where I don't have to wear a tin-foil hat, because I read the manual.

They don't, true, then they come here making less-than-top-quality suggestions.....
