Host to guest route through
Usb is set up. Unmounting from the host to permit the guests to mount results in the host remounting before the guest is able. Idea: a new alternate virtualbox usb control between the host and guest which functions as a usb router passing device info and data. Thereby eliminating host guest competition. Access would be host or guest, with the other locked out until the user toggles the access.

Re: Host to guest route through
Interesting concept. USB does throuw folks for a loop. I would suggest a new topic in "Using Virtualbox" or the Host type subforum for the physical PC you have, so we can try to troubleshoot this:
A Virtualbox USB filter might be able to control this. See USB basics and troubleshooting. Sort of like what you did here but never responded to: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=101805 (hint hint )smakarl wrote:Unmounting from the host to permit the guests to mount results in the host remounting before the guest is able
