mac os catalina, cpu- 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, memory- 8G
Both guest machines have 1 cpu, 1GB memory
I am trying to create kernel dump on x64 linux guest machines (Ubuntu 18.04.5 (kernel v 4.15.0-112-generic) and Centos7 (kernel v 3.10.0-957)) where both fail with the dialogue box with message- ' critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and machine execution has been stopped '

Forum gurus won't go to third-party sites for logs and pictures that can be posted using the forum's Upload Attachment tab on the first day first post.
Please post the log and error message here.

I understand, before i posted with external link, it didnt allow me to upload logs file size > 128KB + pictures, also cant post full log 60000 limit . Here are logs(for Ubuntu18.04.5 VM) split as "VBoxlogSegmentaa , VBoxlogSegmentab, VBoxlogSegmentac ..." i hope its useful to debug.
Thanks

Rather than splitting the log into multiple parts, it would be better if you right-clicked the file (in the Finder) and chose the "Compress" option from the popup-menu. You should then be able to attach the zip file to your post.urgensherpa wrote:I understand, before i posted with external link, it didnt allow me to upload logs file size > 128KB + pictures, also cant post full log 60000 limit . Heres the zip file. It didnt allow me to upload zip file too (yesterday) could be due to first post rule. I observed that the dump works on same kernel/os version installed on my laptop(not virtualized) but it fails on virtualbox 6.1.0 r135406 (Qt5.6.3) im using on mbp. Thanks!

There are no "first day" rules concerning attachments, your rules are the same as mine, e.g. no more than three attachments per post.urgensherpa wrote:Heres the zip file. It didnt allow me to upload zip file too (yesterday) could be due to first post rule.
Since the zip contains the log I will delete the 4 fragments.
