Cannot click on the update link

Hello,

when this update message comes, I thought I could click on this link earlier and download it directly.

Now nothing happens anymore, when I click on it and copy it I can't copy the link either, although I can mark it.

So I went to Safari, virtualbox.org, looked for the version and downloaded it.

I managed to download it. I just thought I'd notice, in case it is not known yet, that it is not possible.

Ich kann weder den Download über die Downloadadresse anklicken noch die Homepage über den Link: "virtualbox.org" erreichen.

Was kann ich tun bzw. was muss ich ändern?

What do you mean by that?

I now have version: 6.1.12 and the corresponding current guest extension installed.
Should the problem be resolved in this version?
I haven't read anything about this in ChangeLog..

the problem still exists with the current update from the penultimate to the current version of Virtualbox.
My MAC has the macOS Catalina version
Is there no solution to this?

This is Mac OS Hosts. If you're having a Windows host issue we can move this to Windows hosts.

FWIW when I click the update link on my Windows host, my default browser opens and starts a typical download. So Virtualbox doesn't download, it tells the host OS to download with its default browser. Is your computer configured with a default web browser that does regular downloads?

I still get the same problem now. The version is 6.1.16. My OS is Windows 10.
