[Solved] An issue (seemingly new) with Mac Os host: inaccessible Windows guest

Hi there,

I have a Mac Os host and a Windows guest, I recently upgraded to version 6.1.10.
First launch of the virtual machine was fine, but the second one caused what seemed like an infinite loop - with ever popping "Cannot open..." window.

I reinstalled older version 6.0.20, and now get an error message Cannot attach medium '/Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' {6e3b8444-9955-4867-b6ae-cdb64301cab0}: medium is already associated with the current state of machine uuid {bd713ce3-4cb2-42d3-95b3-eb29f102e3a9}!."

I have attached the screenshot from the VirtualBox manager. As well as an archive with two .vbox files (I actually have two in the folder - current and previous).
Would really appreciate your help.

Yes, you have made a quite popular error. Instead of inserting media into an existing DVD drive, you added a new DVD drive then inserted the media into that: the same media that's already mounted in the older drive. Yes, the fact that you're allowed to do that is a VirtualBox bug, but it's only seen by people who make the original error.

I have removed the superfluous DVD drives and media from the attached zipped vbox file.

p.s. I just raised a new BugTracker ticket to report the VirtualBox contribution to this problem.
