Ubuntu loads into guru after force shutdown

Post by bmxdude »

Hi All,

I mistyped my password to decrypt the disk drive(Ubuntu), this is done before you login into ubuntu. After many retries it took me to a console, which I then shut down the VM and after that on boot up, it takes me to the guru.

These are some of the logs I see before the Vm goes into Guru state, I have also attached the logs. I have tried cloning and configuring the various settings but have come up short. Please help

Code: Select all

00:00:06.693413 AssertLogRel /Users/vbox/tinderbox/mac-rel/src/VBox/VMM/VMMAll/PGMAllPhys.cpp(2770) VBOXSTRICTRC pgmPhysWriteHandler(PVMCC, PPGMPAGE, RTGCPHYS, const void *, size_t, PGMACCESSORIGIN): PGM_HANDLER_PHYS_IS_VALID_STATUS(rcStrict, true)

00:00:06.693425 Changing the VM state from 'RUNNING' to 'GURU_MEDITATION'
00:00:06.693460 Console: Machine state changed to 'GuruMeditation'
