Copyprotected CD's don't work
Copyprotected CD's don't work
I have a Taito legends game CD for Windows. But the CD drive is not recognised as authentic CD drive, so the copy-protection does not allow the game to start. What can be the problem here?

This is because most copy protection schemes employ deliberate flaws in the ISO formatting which do not copy using normal file I/O (otherwise they would be replicated by a disk copy). Have you tried enabling passthrough? This might work.

Thanks tkwm, this save me having to delete them
Blanka, BTW have you read our Forum FAQ. You will see that most games do not work well under VBox anywat so even if you get the disk working, you might find this a wasted effort.
