Re: Starting any guests intermittently cause host kernel panics on macOS 10.15.1,
I have a newish Mac mini (2018) running Mojave. VB 6.0.12 didn't stop the occasional crashes starting Windows 10 guest. Same trouble as 6.1.

Re: Starting any guests intermittently cause host kernel panics on macOS 10.15.1,
@bostonkhol Hi, the only workaround that works systematically at this point was proposed by ambar, is to start your VM in headless mode and once booted do a show, I tested it 25 times, please not the your graphic controller should eb set to VboxSVGA else you preview window will be garbled.
Thanks

HI, problem solved with VB 6.1.2, no more kernel panic with starting a VM.
Thanks to everyone who helped.

The change log says nothing about Mac host bug fixes...do we know what if anything actually fixed this problem?JiF_Brodeur wrote:HI, problem solved with VB 6.1.2, no more kernel panic with starting a VM.

Re: Starting any guests intermittently cause host kernel panics on macOS 10.15.1,
The 6.1.2 changelog says nothing, but 6.0.16 changelog mentions fixes for macOS crashes.bostonkohl wrote: The change log says nothing about Mac host bug fixes...do we know what if anything actually fixed this problem?
In past virtualbox releases would end up applying such types of bug fixes to all the branches, so I am assuming that someone made a mistake with the release note for this fix, since 6.1.2 seems to have the fixes applied in the binary but not in the changelog.
