Do you mean that VirtualBox 6.0.14 works with your OSX 10.15 (Catalina)?ojehle wrote:now it works
Is that what you're saying?
I can close the thread?

If your Mac panics, the VBox.log is not that relevant, it gets cut in the middle of recording, just like everything else in a crashing Mac. Can you attach a crash report?
And please remember to ZIP it, as already instructed...

Also for me the same problem.
Host: macOS Catalina 10.15.1
Guest: Windows10
Version: 6.0.14
The system reboot when the Mac is in standby and Virtualbox is opened (with virtual machine running).
You can find attached the system log after reboot.

Same issue here. Crash on resume from sleep while VirtualBox is running a guest VM. This time it was Linux (CentOS 7). Will obtain logs next time I can reproduce.
Question for mods: New thread for this issue?

Re: 6.0.14 crashes Catalina starting a Win10 VM (#19018)
Confirming this crash scenario info.
VirtualBox 6.0.14
MacOS Catalina 10.15.1
Full Disk Access approved for VirtualBox in Security settings.
Press SHIFT key when starting the Win10 virtual machine and it loads correctly—a trick that works but that I don't understand.

When "starting" or when "re-starting"? As in "Shift+Restart" on the Windows 10 Start Menu?sjohnson717 wrote:Press SHIFT key when starting the Win10 virtual machine and it loads correctly

Re: 6.0.14 crashes Catalina starting a Win10 VM (#19018)
Same issue here with vbox 6.1.0, happens whenever i start a Windows 10 64 bit vm after system has been through at least one cycle of sleep.ojehle wrote:no i had a complete crash today again starting the windows 10 vm with virtualbox 6.0.14. mac panics... after reboot i can start virtualbox and the VM works... It works fine after system is rebooted.
A 64 bit ubuntu guest runs fine on the same system.
Attaching logs from 2 most recent crashes. Logs have been zipped and attached.
