Re: Hard Disk with UUID Already Exists
So, if you open VirtualBox Manager, you have no VMs? What about if you open the Virtual Media Manager » Hard Disks? Is that empty?
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Re: Hard Disk with UUID Already Exists
I have 4 VMs in the VM folder that I can view on the file system. No VirtualBox tools open, they all fail with the UUID error, so I cannnot view or manage any VMs with these tools.
Re: Hard Disk with UUID Already Exists
I was finally able to get around the issue. I uninstalled then reinstalled VirtualBox. Once reinstalled, I was able to find and edit the VirtualBox.xml file and remove the hard disk configuration. After that I was able to start VirtualBox and properly remove the VMs

Yeah, that's what I was trying to get you to do with the Virtual Media Manager...LNorcini wrote:Once reinstalled, I was able to find and edit the VirtualBox.xml file and remove the hard disk configuration
