Dear Gurus,

I have just copied a win7 guest from linux vbox to mac osx host.
The virtualbox version is the same on both server host.

I was not able to export appliance (due to error at export), just copied vdi file (approx 50 GB) to the new host and re-created the guest box on MacOSX.
the guest os starts up, but it needs disk reparation, and reboots, and it is not not ccoming up, just repeats these steps.

How can I migrate the guest os box from linux to macosx server? As I told earlier export/import appliance does not work, it fails on _not_supported_error.

thank you for any hints.

See the FAQ "Moving a VM" and interpret it as "Backing up a VM" or "Copying a VM".

Just out of curiosity, what is the error (exactly) that you're getting during the export?

This is exactly what I did.
but after copy, the guest was not able to run, it required boot disk to be repaired.
No error message, only goes up, start up with disk repair and reboot.

No, it is not. The linked "Moving a VM" article talks about moving the whole VM folder, including .vbox, .vdi(s) and the Snapshots folder. You didn't do that:

So, you didn't copy the whole VM folder and add/register the VM, you recreated the VM from scratch and attached an existing VDI. Delete your current VM and try again...
