no internet connection on win 7 guest

no matter what i try my win 7 vm doesn't get any internet connection. I've clicked on threads from Google; followed what they did and mine still doesn't work. I've tried NAT and Bridged Adapter, its connected to en0, the cable is connected and I've tried every Adapter Type.

1. Don't try things at random. You don't do that with your physical computer, do you? You don't change the network card if you can't get to Instagram...
2. Don't follow random blogs. Most of the people that read blogs don't even look at the date or version referenced, a ReallyBadIdea™.
3. We need to see a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run, where the problem occurs:
   • Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
   • With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
   • Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

You are assigning memory to your guest, that you do not have available. Either close some applications on the host, buy more RAM for the host, or reduce the amount of RAM assigned to the guest.

With the VM shut down, go to the VM Settings » Display » Screen. Enable 2D and 3D acceleration. Increase the VRAM to the max 256 MB.

You have Bridged mode as your selected option. That may or may not work if you're using Bridged-over-WiFi. With the VM shut down, go to the VM Settings » Network » Adapter 1 » Attached to: change it to NAT.

Now, that's an interesting tidbit that I don't recall seeing, especially for IntNet#48. I'd like to see the "recipe" of the VM, the ".vbox" file:

1. Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager. Select "Show in Finder/Explorer/Whatever".
2. ZIP the selected ".vbox" file and attach it to your response.
