Hi People.
I have an apple mac and am using a windows7 guest virtual box.
When I run a particular program, I am unable to save the file that I generate.
I get the following message....
mnuSaveAs, Unable to open C:\users\VinceG for writing - your data have NOT been saved.
Any ideas?

Re: Can't save files on windows guest
Is this something that's happening completely within the guest? You are running the application in the guest and try to save the files in the guest itself?
If that's accurate, then it's not a VirtualBox problem. Just because an OS/program that runs in the context of VirtualBox has a problem, it doesn't make it a VirtualBox problem necessarily. You're having an issue that has most probably nothing to do with VirtualBox, so my suggestion would be to treat it as such, as a native problem with the OS or the application of the guest.

Thanks Socratis. Yes, it is something that is happening completely within the Guest.
I will investigate further. Thanks.
