Hi all! I have Arch Linux installed in a virtual machine as a guest in Virtualbox. The host is a Mac and I have one shared folder, which is mounted and I have access to it in Arch Linux, but it shows no content. It appears empty although it's not.
Any suggestions?

Re: Virtualbox Shared Folder shows as empty
Guest OS (cache refresh) issue? Was there anything in the folder before the guest OS booted?
Note in case it applies that starting from a suspended state is not booting.

Re: Virtualbox Shared Folder shows as empty
I have something like that.
Host macOS Mojave
Guest Win7
Before Vmware 6 I was using a shared folder with no problem. Now if I use an application that loads files from the shared folder windows crashes and I have to reboot. Besides that every time I save state and restore the state, the folder is inaccessible.

"Vmware 6"? This is not the VMWare discussion forum. That kind of gaffe can make people doubt the precision of anything else you say. Even assuming you meant VirtualBox, "6" is not a version. The current release is 6.0.4.
