  1. Have you filed a ticket in the bug tracker about this?
  2. What else is running on your OSX host at the time?
  3. What does it mean "when you start your Mac"? Do you have VirtualBox auto-start enabled?
  4. What if you start it normally, i.e. after you log in?
  5. I don't want to see a partial log, I want to see a complete ZIPPED crash log.
  6. Post the output of the following:
    •
      kextstat | grep -v com.apple.com
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Have you filed a ticket in the bug tracker about this?
yes

What else is running on your OSX host at the time?
only the Windows VM

What does it mean "when you start your Mac"? Do you have VirtualBox auto-start enabled?
yes

What if you start it normally, i.e. after you log in?
it still does it

I don't want to see a partial log, I want to see a complete ZIPPED crash log.

Post the output of the following:

Code: Select all

kextstat | grep -v com.apple.com

I too am having this same problem. It only started AFTER the update to version 6.0.2 in VirtualBox.
For clarity sake: Virtual box crashes every time I start a VM. The strange thing is that if I launch the VM from the Virtualbox Manager app the VM launches fine. But if I launch the VM using VMstarter.app (as I have done for years) it crashes and gives this error: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000208
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
