Installing virtual box on OS X version 10.8.5
Hello all. I am a new user with an old Mac. Is there any way to install virtual box on Mac running on 10.8.5? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

So, I take it the latest you can run on OSX 10.8.5 would be 5.0.40 from 2017-04-29. You can find it in the 5.0.x builds area.Support for Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and earlier was removed with VirtualBox 5.0. Support for Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) was removed with VirtualBox 5.1. Support for Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) was removed with VirtualBox 5.2.
