Win10 Log:

00:01:00 Sleep on my MBP
00:02:00 Wake my MBP (Looks like probably 00:01:02 or 00:01:22 on the Log)

All works as it should. Not issues on Win10.

Don, I couldn't have said it better myself! :)

Even in mailing lists you can selectively quote the previous message if there's a need to. But people are too lazy to do that, just hitting "Reply all" is much easier I guess, editing a message is a long lost art... :|

That's a really interesting finding, that means that it's not a widespread issue. It could very well be an issue with that specific VM. What exactly, I have no clue at this point.
Meestor_X wrote:Clearly the issue is Win7, but I really need Win7 to work
I hear you... For example, come 6.1.0, I will have to build from scratch two of my most trusted VMs, a Win7-32 and a Win10-64 one. The former refuses to get the GAs installed, it crashes and complains that there's something wrong with my Direct3D setup. The latter shows a really high (around 50%) unexplained VMM Load. Fresh twin VMs don't have that issue. Go figure...

So, can you install a new Win7 VM and see if you can reproduce the issue? I won't look at your logs' snippets at this point, I'll wait for the results from that test VM. But when there's a need to look at the logs, I need to see the complete VBox.log, not just excerpts. ZIPPED please...

Well, this is embarrassing.

Installed a new Win7 VM and it doesn't have a problem.

I'd love to know what's messing up the old installation, but it'll be faster for me to just install all the software on the new VM and be done with it.

Sorry to waste everyone's time!

Are you kidding!? Not at all! This is what the forums are for... :)

Great to hear that. I'll go ahead and mark the thread as a [WorksForMe] then.

Same here. So when the next person comes around with a similar problem the answer won't simply be a "Reinstall the guest OS".

Same here. As I said I've lost a couple of *days* troubleshooting these two problematic VMs of mine. At the end I'll simply have to bite the bullet and create them from scratch, it's not unheard of that a clean OS installation solves a barrage of problems... ;)
