[WorksForMe] fatal: no bootable medium found system halted

created a new virtual machine and when I start the virtual machine, win7 does not start and this error appears:
"fatal no bootable medium found system halted"
What can I do in front of this error?

I have virtualbox installed on mac and installed win7 ..
please help!!

The message means exactly what it says: no bootable medium is attached to the VM. Assuming you didn't delete any media files then usually this would be because no OS has been installed yet.

Do you have a CD with the Windows 7 installer on it? Choosing a VirtualBox Windows 7 template creates a VM which is suitable for Win7. It does not install Win7.
