having issues installing Debian on Mac.
which iso. (link Please) should I use?
any hoot would be great.
when I finish installation just hangs on a black screen .

If I am doing a clean install then I use Current Debian NetInstall image and then have it download only the packages it needs for whatever I am configuring. If I am being uber lazy, I will use pre-existing .vdi files from OS Boxes.

Sounds like you have other issues. Do any guests work? How about posting a VBox.log file from the problematic guest then we can take a look for issues.
