I have a Canon 9950f scanner, very nice, and unfortunately Canon decided to stop making drivers for it, and now it has fallen into the list of unsupported devices on OSX.
What I am curious about is:
If I set up a windows 7 32 bit system on a virtualbox, I should be able to install a driver for the scanner which will work.
Then run that VM on my Mac, and access the scanner that way?
Do you suppose that might work?
Thank you in advance for any help.

If the scanner has drivers, in theory it should work, although scanners are usually a tougher nut to crack. You have nothing to lose, except some time...will_von_wizzlepig wrote:Do you suppose that might work?
