VM caused reboot of Macbook and corrupted vhd
VM caused reboot of Macbook and corrupted vhd
I was working in the VM with Windows 10 and it caused a reboot of my computer. Now I can't access the machine because the vhd is corrupted with a differencing error. Based on what I've read, it's due to reaching the size limit of the vhd. What I can't figure out is how to fix the corruption and resize the disk so I can continue using the VM . Is there a way to do that?

Do you mean crash and reboot?HeidiG wrote:it caused a reboot of my computer
What's the exact error?HeidiG wrote:I can't access the machine because the vhd is corrupted with a differencing error
Why did you create a VHD? That's not the default for VirtualBox. And what makes you think that you've reached the size limit? What was the original size?HeidiG wrote:it's due to reaching the size limit of the vhd
Answer the above questions and we'll see if it's possible or not.HeidiG wrote:Is there a way to do that?
