I installed the latest version of VirtualBox on my Windows 10
Installed a MacOS inside of VirtualBox, but I cannot get the USB and Drag and Drop to work.
I have the Exentionprogram installed in Virtual box, but when I try to install it on the Mac, at the top, under Devices, and Guest CD.
it just mounts a CD, and nothing else. The PKG file on that disk is vBoxSolaris... which gives an error when I try to open it.
Is there another PKG that I need to install for Drag/Drop?
Cannot get USB and Drag/Drop to work for Mac OS

I SHOULD mention that this is a
Macbook.. Booted into Windows with Parallels.

And it's legal to install a copy of you OS if you have a Macbook already and use it on the same machine.

DO NOT PM FOR VIRTUALBOX PROBLEMS!!!
We're going to need to see a VM log from a complete VM run:
We're going to need to see a VM log from a complete VM run:
- Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe error / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
- With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
- Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Guess I can't send a PM to the mod.
So I am placing it here.

Hi,
First of all sorry, but seems like I needed 5 posts before I could send a PM
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=89017
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=89000
I must be that 0.0001%
I placed it in the right section of the forum this time.
I have a Windows laptop, but also a Macbook.
and I was talking about the Macbook that is booted into Windows with Parallels.
From there I created a VB for Mac, since I use it to test my apps in Xcode. since the main program is Windows based and need to compile / test in Xcode.
I was going back an forth with Rebooting, but it becomes cumbersome to do that
So I am placing it here.

I apologize for the ... screaming. I didn't realize that you wanted to notify me about your previous thread. You won't believe the amount of PMs we get for problems that should actually be public.
See the instructions above for posting a ZIPPED VBox.log.
