I ran the installer and it encountered an error. The only thing that popped up was to contact the software provider.
Does anyone have a solution/ idea on how to fix this?

Re: Installer not working on Mac OS
We are going to need more details, starting with the specific text from the error message. If you are running High Sierra (10.13.x) then you may well have come across the Apple security "feature" and you will need to go into the Security & Privacy settings and allow Oracle to be an identified developer in order to install the kernel extensions.
