I tried installing 5.1.34, then got the exact same error. I have MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.3. Any ideas what could cause this error? Thanks for reading.The installation failed. I'm trying to install VirtualBox in order to work with Minikube. I ran the installation package on my machine and at the end got an error message

I found the solution to my question on AppleStackExchange. The post is titled "virtualbox-5-1-28-fails-to-install-on-macos-10-13-due-to-kext-security" and was originally posted October 17, 2017.
