I have tried now 3 hours to get that working, googled everyting and now I am frustrated.

Export from Windows 7 and then Import to Macbook Pro OS High Sierra

Importing OVF-file

Interface: IAppliance {8398f026-4add-4474-5bc3-2f9f2140b23e}

Copying the whole image folder from Windows to Mac and then ADD NEW MACHINE
Failed to open virtual machine located in /Users/xxx/VirtualBox VMs/DockerImage/DockerImage.vbox.
Error in /Users/xxx/VirtualBox VMs/DockerImage/DockerImage.vbox (line 1) -- Root element in VirtualBox settings files must be "VirtualBox".
/Users/vbox/tinderbox/5.2-mac-rel/src/VBox/Main/src-server/MachineImpl.cpp[479] (nsresult Machine::initFromSettings(VirtualBox *, const com::Utf8Str &, const com::Guid *)).
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: MachineWrap
Interface: IMachine {85cd948e-a71f-4289-281e-0ca7ad48cd89}
Callee: IVirtualBox {9570b9d5-f1a1-448a-10c5-e12f5285adad}

Any idea how to get this working? In both machines have the same version of Oracle Virtualbox, 5.2.8, the latest ones. I am getting mad with this :(

Post the .vbox file as an attachment. Please ZIP it first.

Hi and thanks for help. Now I think I know the reason. In PC, files are crypted when copied to WD My Passport HD and when I open it on mac, it is still crypted. I think that this is because my company's security policy.

Wait a minute... there's a policy that's encrypting things as they get copied? :shock:
If so, can we close this as a [WorksForMe] or as [Invalid]?
