I've met an obstacle trying to install XP Pro in VB on my MacBook Pro. In the Windows setup it wants me to agree to the license agreement by pressing F8. So I press F8, and...uh...nothing happens, except my keyboard backlight turns off. Fine, I say, and I connect my Apple Keyboard. I press F8 and...nothing. I can't accept the License Agremeent, and thus can't install.
Is there any way to input a specific key to a guest? Or some other way to do this?
XP Pro install can't proceed on MBP
... F8...
I know this is probably too obvious, but...
Did you try pressing the FN key and F8?
Perhaps, (I'm not at my MacBook Pro right now) isn't there a setting that switches the Function Keys from "special features" to "standard function keys" within the System Preferences / Keyboard...
I remember this hanging me up at some time in Windows on my MacBookPro, just thought I'd toss it out there...
good luck!
