I've been getting hard crashes in High Sierra, virtual disk is corrupted after restart.
I followed the above instructions (sorry can't quote or link with new account). No errors in uninstall or startup logs. I have attached the install log.
Before reinstall I was running latest VBox 5. Re-installed with latest 6.
