High Sierra 10.13.2, VirtualBox 5.2.6 USB Token (DATEV) not recognized

Post by r4x4erik »

Hi! :|

After updating High Sierra to 10.13.2 and VirtualBox to 5.2.6, my USB TOKEN-Stick for DATEV.de Plattform cannon be handed over to Windows anymore.
(see printscreen)
The handover from Mac to Windows of all other USB medias like USB-drives is working without any problem...

Any ideas?
Thanks!!

I'm seeing lots of "suspend/resumes" in the log. Have you performed a full VM shutdown since the software was updated? Are you plugging in the device after the guest OS reaches the desktop? Do you have a USB filter defined for it?

Hi mpack,

Thanks for your reply.

Have you performed a full VM shutdown since the software was updated?
Yes.

Are you plugging in the device after the guest OS reaches the desktop?
Yes.

Do you have a USB filter defined for it?
Yes.

...and it still didn't work.
I restarted the VBox/ Windows a lot of times, until windows didn't start anymore.
After resetting the virtualbox with my time machine to a state of before yesterday.
Now windows stars again and the USB Token-Stick also works, don't aks me why....
Problem solved!

Thanks for your help.
