serial port throws VERR_PDM_DRIVER_NOT_FOUND when enabled

Post by Transient »

Hello,

If I enable a serial port in the VM settings I get the error below. I'm not sure what a PDM driver is, so I'm not sure where to begin fixing it.

My serial port settings are as follows:
Port Number: COM1
Port Mode: Host Device
Port Path: /dev/tty.serial0

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
