Why is Enterprise Architect freezing in virtual box?

I have question about virtualization Windows 8 in virtual box under MAC OS. Problem is, when I start Enterprise Architect and working with these app application often freeze and not responding so i must wait often about 5 minutes, till i continue working. Im using in Virtual box Windows 8, and I allocated for windows 5,13 GB operation memory. Mac has these attributes - 2,7 GHz Intel Core i5 with RAM 8GB. Somewhere i read about set paravirtualization, which i have on Hyper-V. Thanks for advice. K

Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Massive overcommittment of host RAM. You need to find out what host process is hogging host RAM, and eliminate it. Then I would reduce the RAM allocation to the VM to something more reasonable, such as 2GB.

Well, beyond what I've written above, support for Enterprise Architect needs to be had from Enterprise Architect support specialists. I've never even heard of it before this topic.

I will observe that you are running Windows 8 on a single CPU, so it probably won't be very fast even before running any apps, plus I have no idea what resources Enterprise Architect expects. Unfortunately your host only has 2 cores total, so you don't have much scope for balancing resources between host and VM.

I do see this in the log :-

Meaning it's doing software rendering of 3D, which won't improve performance.

I'm seeing a lot of repetition of the following line :-

But I don't know what it means. Do you have a poor quality network connection? With the host changing between WiFi access points?

Next time you get an apparant freeze, try finding out where the CPU time is going. In recent Windows it is quite often being consumed by Windows Update.

Please uninstall the old VirtualBox version (5.0.30) and install the latest and greatest. And the Extension Pack HAS to match the VirtualBox version.

I installed newest version of VirtualBox and still freezing. Interesting is, that only EA is freezes, other applications working fine. Usage of processor and RAM is in attachment. About re-connecting, can be caused by work via VPN?
