Since yesterday VirtualBox (VirtualBox-5.1.2-108956-OSX) under MacOS 10.11 does not start and gives the folowing error:

I turned off the computer last friday before shut down a virtual machine running WinXP, by mistake. I dont' know if it is the source of the error (surely it is
)I've checked and the instructions for a solution for this problem refers of VirtualBox running on Linux.
Some says that a deletion of a files (o folders) is needed. I checked on /tmp/ on the root folder and such files does not exist.
The opuput of
/bin/ls -ld /tmp
is
lrwxr-xr-x@ 1 root wheel 11 Aug 5 16:36 /tmp -> private/tmp
(Another suggestion found on VirtualBox site)
