Hi,
After changing the name of the iMac root user from Alonsomunoz to esj, I get the following error. I tried re-installing Virtualbox but I got the same error.
Runtime error opening '/Users/Alonsomunoz/VirtualBox VMs/WinXP/WinXP.vbox' for reading: -102(File not found.).
/Users/vbox/tinderbox/mac-rel/src/VBox/Main/src-server/MachineImpl.cpp[745] (nsresult Machine::i_registeredInit()).

Componente:

I hope you can help,
Daniel

Re: Virtual Box Runtime error opening
You need to remove the two guests from the list and re-add them. They are listed as inaccessible because the path to them should now be …/edj/… instead of …/Alonsomunoz/…
OSX, Linux and Windows Hosts & Guests
There are three groups of people. Those that can count and those that can't.

Re: Virtual Box Runtime error opening
How do I do that? (Removing and adding them without losing the content of both guests?)
Thanks a lot!
Daniel

Re: Virtual Box Runtime error opening
Remove the VM (Machine, Remove). When removing the guests you'll be asked what to do with the guest files. Choose not to delete them (Remove only). Then add them from the menu (Machine, Add...).
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Re: Virtual Box Runtime error opening
Thank you socratis,
It did work! I am only left with this problem:
The shared folder 'Compartida' could not be set up: Shared folder path '/Users/Alonsomunoz/Desktop/Compartida' does not exist on the host.
The shared folder setup will not be complete. It is recommended to power down the virtual machine and fix the shared folder settings while the machine is not running.
Error ID:
BrokenSharedFolder
Severity:
Warning
Do you know where shared folder settings can be fixed?
Thanks a lot!
Daniel

Thank loukingjr, not me. He had already given you the answer. You just didn't read it carefully.
