keyboard can't typing in guest system (win 10)

Dear All

I'm facing an issue with Virtualbox, after i installed windows 10 on my MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), it boot successfully. but unfortunately, my mac keyboard doesn't typing in windows 10 Guest in password field.

The Host system is OS X



any advice !! please help me

Make sure that the VM is not enabling a USB filter that could grab ownership of the keyboard from the host.

Otherwise, this could be a keyboard layouts problem - a guest OS configuration problem. VirtualBox itself doesn't care about keyboard layouts: it simulates a bunch of switches whose meaning is interpreted by the guest OS.

Thanks for your quick reply, i have checked the VM USB filter. it's not enabling

This issue is happening only with windows 10 but the other VM windows 7 is working find.

As far as I know, my previous answer is complete. It's either a USB filter problem (you say not), or the keyboard layout is incorrect. I don't know how to fix an incorrect keyboard layout in Windows 10 if you can't access the control panel. A quick Google tells me that there's a keyboard layout link on the welcome screen. You need to select a Mac layout for your language.
