CD/DVD mounting
I'm running Windows 10 on my 2013 MacBook Pro, and I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to mount the host DVD drive to be used in the VM. How can I make my inbuilt DVD drive work within virtual Windows?

Re: CD/DVD mounting
You probably can't, because VirtualBox doesn't see it as a CD/DVD drive, it sees it as USB mass storage (which I believe it is). Otherwise I wasn't aware that the 2013 MBP had an "inbuilt" DVD drive.
What you can do is make an ISO image of the CD/DVD media, and mount that in the VM instead.
