Basically , it stops when running package scripts after getting files written.

Does anyone would know how to fix this?
I never installed virtual box before.

You provided the installer log file. Where did that come from? Console messages or the installer log? I have a suspicion that it only logs the errors, but we're going to try and record everything. Run the 5.0.14 installer, and press Cmd-L to show the log. Select "Show All Logs". Before you close the installer window save the log, zip it and attach it here.

BTW, 4.3.36 is not suitable for use in a 10.11 host.

Well, nothing really striking came up, except one thing, which I don't know how to interpret. Your log is first, mine is second:

Not sure why executing "sh" would return a different code, but when your preflight runs, it ... fails. If you take a look at the preflight script, it does nothing out of the ordinary ( also, located at https://www.virtualbox.org/svn/vbox/tru ... /preflight ):

I'm not an expert but these don't seem like a likely point of failure.

So, have you done anything unusual with your system? Installed 3rd party packages, modified system files, etc? Because, it seems like a really basic point of failure, which I've only encountered in "modified" systems.

One thing I noticed: you're installing from "file://localhost/Volumes/VirtualBox%201/VirtualBox.pkg", which means there is a "/Volumes/VirtualBox 1" and a "/Volumes/VirtualBox" volumes. That indicates that you have two VirtualBox volumes, that is you mounted the VirtualBox-###-OSX.dmg twice. Could you make sure that you have only one mounted .dmg? Actually, performing a host reboot wouldn't hurt as well, come to think of it, as that would clear that issue.
