mouse problems in virtualbox with OS X host
I run virtualbox .12 (the newest) on Mac OS X el captain. THe guest is linux mint rebecca (second newest) with cinnamon as the deskop enviroment. recently the problem occured that when mouse integration is disabled, the mouse turns invisible. it is still there, because when i move the mouse to the lower right hand corner the linux mint start menu opens. the mouse is tehre just invisible. but the problem goes away when i turn on mouse integration. But i hate when mouse integration is on because then i try to use the taskbar and teh mac dock appears. or try to reach the close sign and the top menu appears. i have a whole bunch of other guests and it doesn't happen with them. any ideas on what to do? the last thing i want to do is reinstall linux mint. and by the way, reinstalled guest additions, restarted linux mint and mac, etc. HELP!

Re: mouse problems in virtualbox with OS X host
FWIW, I have LM 17.3 MATE and LM 17.3 Cinnamon installed as guests. The Cinnamon guest behaves differently than the MATE guest because of their different methods of compositing.
Disable 3D acceleration for your Cinnamon guest and it should behave as you expect.
