I mean, show me the first screenful of data from the hex editor for the damaged VDI. I don't need to see a good VDI (I can do that myself).
Alternatively, write the first 64KB to a binary file, zip it and attach the zip here. I can view the binary data in my own hex editor.
Please also tell me the exact VDI file size, to the nearest byte.
Just don't get your hopes up. At this point we are just examining the extent of the chaos.

First of all, I have used a program called hex friend. But when I open the vdi file. it shows me that all the bytes that appear are zero.mpack wrote:I mean, show me the first screenful of data from the hex editor for the damaged VDI. I don't need to see a good VDI (I can do that myself).

The file is exactly 10.602.151.936 bytes (10.6 GB)
And I haven't understand what you have said in the second line.
