Can't use USB devices

Post by Alex100 »

I can't seem to fully mount or use USB devices on my Windows 7/64 guest. A flash drive, for example, shows up as a VBOX HARDDISK ATA Device, without a correct driver installed.

I am using VirtualBox 4.3.28. Guest Additions and extensions are both installed. In the Settings for the guest, "Enable USB Controller" is checked and grayed out. "Enable USB 2.0 (EHCI) Controller" is unchecked and grayed out.

Are those settings grayed out when you shut down the guest and then check them?
